Elmwood Township retained R. Clark Associates, Inc. (RCAI) to devise a Conceptual Master Plan for the Greilickville waterfront area. To develop a plan that addressed local needs and aspirations, the RCAI team conducted community visioning sessions and reviewed pertinent historical and geographical information. Aided by public input, the team formulated a series of master plan concepts which balanced preservation and restoration of natural areas with expansion of commercial, office, and waterfront uses that add vitality to the area. The final waterfront area concept, rooted in a consensus of community input, was a cohesive master plan addressing circulation, safe pedestrian access, and the interconnectivity of a large number of parcels with environmental challenges.
