Kenneth A. Ockert, RLA, ASLA
Landscape Architect & Land Planner
Kenneth A. Ockert has been with R. Clark Associates, Inc. since 2002, during which time he has managed transportation planning, master planning, and construction management projects. His professional experience also includes mixed-use commercial and office complexes, waterfront resorts, and high-end residential projects in both Michigan and Colorado.
Mr. Ockert has led R. Clark Associates, Inc.’s efforts on projects including Long-range Transportation Planning for the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians in Michigan and Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians in Wisconsin. These plans facilitate opportunities for additional funding to maintain existing roads and construct future road networks for the reservations as well as tribes’ neighboring municipal road commissions and state highway departments.
Mr. Ockert has helped develop master plans for Peninsula Township, Maple Grove Township, and Otsego County. He is adept at helping communities formulate their vision for the future and incorporating tools into the master plan for implementing the community’s goals. Kenneth also has extensive experience guiding communities through the future land use mapping process.
Mr. Ockert has worked on a variety of master plans from the conceptual stages through entitlement approvals and included in his portfolio are residential master plans for LochenHeath, Michigan; Hidden Hills, Michigan; and First Creek, Colorado.
