Dustin M. Christensen, BLA
Land Planner & Landscape Designer
Mr. Christensen joined R. Clark Associates, Inc. (RCAI) in June 2005. He also has one year of experience with Michigan State University’s Small Town Design Initiative (STDI) where he was involved with master planning, community education and visioning, site and landscape planning, design imagery with digital graphics, and creating educational exercises.
During his time with RCAI and STDI, Mr. Christensen has worked with a wide variety of private and public sector clients on projects ranging from landscape design, site design, and master planning to community visioning. Dusty was the primary illustrator for the award-winning New Designs for Growth Development Guidebook. Dusty has worked with numerous communities throughout the state of Michigan, as well as on transportation plans for clients throughout the Mid-West.
Mr. Christensen has a broad knowledge of computer applications and possesses the graphic skills to easily convey designs for any audience. Dusty is knowledgeable of software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AutoCad, and ArcGIS. Dusty utilizes his skills to produce digitally created and hand drawn graphics to effectively convey RCAI’s innovative planning and design solutions to a diverse client base. Mr. Christensen works closely with local municipalities and approving agencies to implement plans and designs that meet the needs of RCAI’s clients, local communities, and the environment.
